Welsh movie actor lands role in blockbuster The Hobbit

WELSH movie hunk Luke Evans has landed the biggest role of his career after being cast in The Hobbit. It’s the first time the Aberbargoed actor, who starred as “top farmer totty” in Tamara Drewe, has appeared in a Peter Jackson franchise. He plays Bard the Grim, a skilled human archer, in the New Zealand-filmed blockbuster.

Luke, who has made a name for himself in “sword and sandals” films playing Zeus in Immortals and Apollo in Clash of the Titans, said he’s massively excited about the project, which has just started filming and will take a year to complete. “I’m just about to start a very, very big one – The Hobbit,” the 32-year-old said.     Take it easy utecougar.  Geez!  Type O.  Any way I thought this guy was Norman Reedus from The Boondock saints.  But since I saw the picture I did the homework and realized that I was mistaken. I think this guy looks Noble and youthful enough to pull it off awesomely.  Kind of reminds me of Aragorn as in his “Diamond in the rough” quality.  Can’t wait to see the tension between Bard and The Master of Lake Town play out on the big screen.

    I agree with the fan response. It is slight.  Stay up to date and you’ll see that there are fans who constantly reply to these type of things.
