The Sun is reporting that actor James Nesbitt, Bofur in The Hobbit films, may be suffering from DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis). As we learned from PJ’s second production video, Nesbitt informed us during The Hobbit hiatus he will be golfing in the US at Pebble Beach and then returning to Ireland to enjoy his family and hang out with some mates. 1. It’s too bad to hear about Nesbitt, hopefully he’ll be fine and will continue to be in the film(s).

The only other thing I have to say is that I think you mean the long trips have been the CAUSE of the DVT, not the result of the DVT… just lookin’ out for ya’! 😉

I wish him a speedy recovery and quality time with family and friends during his break from The Hobbit.

Hopefully the airline will permit James and others to walk around during the long flight back to NZ to continue filming.  The blood needs to keep circulating around the body.
