Tomorrow we continue our examination of the Hobbit with Chapter 4 – Over Hill and Under Hill.

Refreshed from their stay in Rivendell, the Company sets off into the Misty Mountains. Danger quickly finds them. What do we make of the stone giants? And what of our first encounter with goblins? And does Bilbo’s warning to the party as they are captured show that he’s becoming more useful, or is he still somewhat of a passenger?

Join us tomorrow on Saturday April 30 at 6pm EDT in #thehalloffire on our IRC server ( where we’ll delve into the third chapter of the Hobbit “A Short Rest” to talk about Rivendell, Elrond, magical elven swords, magical dwarven maps and much more!
