    In many interviews last week, Walsh, Jackson, etc categorically stated that Warner’s only concern was the unions and that they weren’t asking for more subsidies.

    To NZ Govt,

    Give them what they want! You’ll see the returns in tourism and tax receipts for businesses ancillary to the film industry.

    Why are Warners now asking for more subsidy?!. I thought they were the “moral” party in all this and were all set to roll until the unions pressed the self-destruct. So far, WB were the injured party and I hope this request has been incorrectly reported … otherwise the comments made my NZAE and CTU look to be right, don’t they !!
