The Academy Award-nominated actor will be there filming scenes for the big-screen adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s novel “The Road.” It’s a post-apocalyptic tale of a journey taken by a father (Mortensen) and his young son (Kodi Smit-McPhee) across a barren landscape blasted by an unspecified cataclysm that destroyed civilization and most life on Earth.
