We did it in the style of “Be Kind Rewind”, where they ‘Swede” films – taking something you love and remaking it in your own way. Our way was to be humorous and we’ve been blessed that people have been laughing at our efforts on youtube and the net. New Line even gave us a nod by linking to the youtube channel from the lordoftherings.net site, something I’m still amazed and happy by. So take a look and enjoy. Contrary to previous reports on IMDB there is “no truth” to the rumor that New Line Cinema’s Bob Shaye & Michael Lynne were being sacked, and all projects, including The Hobbit were moving completely over to the Warner Bros. camps. A New Line spokesperson stated via email to us today that the story was false, and they are seeking a correction on IMDB.

Bloom Nabs Razzie Nom On a more dubious note, Orlando Bloom has nabbed a ‘Razzie’ Award nomination for his work on ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End’. The Razzie Awards have been around since 1981, they are intended to be the Yin to the Oscars Yang as they showcase the worst acting, screenwriting, songwriting, directing, and films that the film industry had to offer.
