Rings stage adaptation may look nothing like Jackson’s magnum opus

London, April 28 (ANI): Lord of the Rings admirers might be left disappointed after seeing the stage adaptation of the best selling novel. Fans hoping for a recreation of director Peter Jackson’s vision of Middle Earth might be disenchanted, for the show’s set designer Rob Howell has never seen the films. While the film adaptation shows the hairy-toed hero Frodo Baggins battle it out against the evil of Mordor, Howell consciously stayed away from the movie vision and stuck to JRR Tolkien’s original story.
