Cate Blanchett has been nominated for a Golden Globe for ‘SUPPORTING DRAMATIC ACTRESS’ for her work on “Notes on a Scandal”. The film, directed by Richard Eyre (Stage Beauty, Iris), revolves around a pottery teacher (Blanchett) who enters into an affair with one of her students, causing upheaval in her personal and professional lives.
