Karon reminds me that there are actually two movies currently being filmed about Beowulf. The first is scheduled for release in January 2006. This earlier production is called ‘Beowulf and Grendel’ and stars Gerard Butler (Phantom of the Opera), Sarah Polley, and Ingvard Sigurdsson.
