Top 1000 Titles Owned by Libraries Worldwide

OCLC Research has compiled a list of the top 1000 titles owned by member libraries—the intellectual works that have been judged to be worth owning by the “purchase vote” of libraries around the globe. Coming in at number 10 is The Lord of the Rings, with 37,461 library holdings. If you look at the nine titles before it, you’ll see that LOTR is in pretty good company. [More]
