Jed Brophy Q&A

Ringer Lith writes: I had the good fortune to meet Jed Brophy in the lobby of the Holiday Inn after TORn’s Oscar Party, and he was gracious enough to agree to answer some questions from the fans on the LOTR fan club message boards. I posted the Q & A today, and our very efficient moderator Primula already has it archived in her online scrapbook. I thought other fans might like to read it, so here is the link to the scrapbook page: [More]

Update: Boston Museum LOTR Exhibit Directions

Ringer Steve writes: I just wanted to share this information with people who might be purchasing tickets to the Boston Museum’s LOTR exhibit – it appears that the directions on the Museum’s website (first link below) will not be accurate starting in August, as there will be no Green Line service to the Science Park station, where the museum is located. Instead, there will apparently be a shuttle bus, as indicated in the second article listed below. This could be helpful for anyone making hotel / travel reservations. [Map] [Shuttle Info]

SFX Mag Talks ROTK Gaming

JG writes: The current issue of SFX magazine in the UK has an LOTR covermount. Every issue contains a miniature based on the film from Sabertooth Games’ The Lord of the Rings Tradeable Miniatures Game. As you can’t see the miniature, you don’t know what you’re getting so you may get one of the common, rare or ultra-rare miniatures. There’s also a subscription offer where you get a free starter set worth £14.99 if you subscribe and the coverage inside mentions a forthcoming redemption offer and summer tournament. Keep your eyes peeled for the summer issues.
