During the acceptance speech for the Pop Culture award for Gilligan’s Island, the Professor (Russell Johnson) stepped up and said, ‘I’d like to thank the people of New Zealand!’ Later in the broadcast, host Brad Garrett said, ‘If you’re just tuning in, The Lord of the Rings has just beaten McMillan and Wife.’

Dundee Contemporary Arts and macrobert Stirling announced last week the creation of DISCOVERY: Scotland’s First International Film Festival for Children and Young People at DCA.
