Bailey writes: Renee Fleming who contributed to the ROTK soundtrack on “Twilight and Shadow,” “The End of All Things,” and “The Return of the King” will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl on July 27th. She’ll be singing along with the LA Philharmonic and conductor Patrick Summers. My brochure says: “Renee Fleming joins the LA Philharmonic in a concert showcasing her rapturous voice and inimitable artistry in repertoire from grand opera to American musical theater.” Doesn’t sound like she’ll be singing anything from LOTR, but I greatly enjoyed her voice on the CD.
