Eogwyn writes: Colin Duriez, Tolkien expert and author (as featured on the Disc 3 TTT EE DVD) is giving a talk on Thursday 4th December 2003, at Leicester Writers’ Club, Leicester Adult Education College, Wellington Street, Leicester, UK, at 7-9pm. The title of the talk is “Tolkien and C.S. Lewis: their friendship and mutual influence” and will cover the story of their friendship and the enormous debt they owed to each other, without the friendship, the world would lack “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Chronicles of Narnia”. []
