Jan writes: I received an email from Amanda, who is working on the “seat funding” for the Embasy restoration. She said that the restoration is going well and is on schedule, but wanted to let anyone out there who might still be interested in purchasing a seat know that there are still about 15 of the Lounge Seats and somewhat over 150 of the Gold Seats still available. Anyone who is interested in supoorting the restoration by funding a seat can email her. She also wanted to thank all of the folks who had contributed so far. To quote her, she’s “amazed by the support from all the TORN readers”.

Thaisa writes: Yesterday, Warner Bros. in Brazil confirmed that Viggo Mortensen will come to Brazil early november to promote ROTK. He’ll spent two days here. And also two weeks before the release of ROTK (Dec 25th), some brazilian movie theathers will show the extended editions of FOTR and TTT. Warner intend to show the whole trilogy together some weeks after ROTK too!

Nona writes: Sean Bean (Boromir) will be co-starring in “National Treasure” (Disney/Touchstone), as Ian Howe. Principal photography starts soon. The film stars Nicholas Cage and Diane Kruger (Sean’s co-star in Troy). [More]
