There will be an outdoor back-to-back screening of FOTR and TTT at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort in Kuala Lumpur Saturday, August 30th at 8pm local time. Tickets are priced at an RM15 (USD3.95) for both films.
Clay writes: The annual summer Boulder Outdoor Theater in Boulder, Colo. will show TTT just after dark on Saturday, Aug. 30 behind the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. There is a small charge, but not prohibitive.
Just a small reminder that Dr Graeme Anthony, sculptor of the hand crafter Tolkein characters, will be at Royal Selangor in Chadstone on Saturday 30th August at 1:30pm. He will demonstrate how each piece has been designed, provide a forum about his work and sign any piece purchased on the day. [More]
People keep emailing to ask, “Is TORN having an event in Wellington to celebrate the World Premiere of ROTK? And the answer is YES!!! More details once TORN’s finished with DragonCon this weekend, but for the meantime, keep November 30th free if you plan to be in Wellington that night. We have a venue, we have a band, and we have Tolkien fans from 16 different countries all set to party.
