Elizabeth Buras, Director of “The Hobbit” writes: “The Hobbit,” a musical, is being presented by Playhouse 1960. The theatre is located at 6814 Gant in north west Houston. The show runs Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. from Aug. 30-Sept. 21, 2003. Tickets are $5. Reservations can be made at playhouse1960.com or by calling 281-58STAGE. This show is put on by a cast of 60 kids ages 7-19. They have been in rehearsal for the past 6 weeks, and the show is excellent.
