Thanks to all those dedicated LOTR fans who emailed in such positive feedback for the ROTK CD Cardz this Fall. Ford of Rivendell sends this: “Sunday night at 10pm, on HGTV there is a show “Extreme Homes” that has a hobbit styled house. It’s all underground, showing windows. Looks pretty neat. [More] It will be on June 1 at 10pm est and June 2 at 1am est. They say it’s a Mexican Green House, but sure looks like a hobbit style house to me!”
Ringer Spy Yuko was near the Stone Street set in Wellington the other day, and snapped this picture of set construction for us. Things have certainly progressed since Ringer Spy Taniwha took these pictures for us not so long ago! Eowyn and Theoden are borne off the battlefield in honour, while noone notices a small fatigued Merry wandering in the background with tears filling his eyes. When Pippin finds his friend, Merry is already falling under the Black Shadow. Soon the wounded are all laid in beds in the houses of healing, but though they are tended well there seems to be no cure for the shadow of the nazgul. But then a wise woman of Gondor remembers an old proverb; “the hands of the king are the hands of a healer”.[More]
