iamahobbit writes: For Comic Relief, French and Saunders did a comic spoof of it. There was one Lord of Rings bit where Snape is arguing with Dobby thet he (Dobby) was not in LOTR, it was fairly amusing to hear Dobby as Gollum! It is the third one from the bottom. [More]

When asked about how he went about creating Bilbo’s journal, he talks a bit about training Ian Holm to do his “Concerning Hobbits” bit at the beginning of the FOTR extended DVD. He goes on to say,
“…, I had to train Elijah to write with his quill, too, and do his little bit in the journal.”
Does this give us a little insight as to what events might appear at the end of ROTK?

Lord of the Rings trilogy star Sean Astin is in talks to star opposite Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in Columbia Pictures’ comedy 50 First Kisses for director Peter Segal. Production is slated to begin in the spring. Astin will play Barrymore’s brother, who speaks with a lisp. [More]
