Harry Potter beats Tolkien book at auction

A signed first edition of a Harry Potter book has fetched £3,200 at auction. A first edition copy of JRR Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings also went for £1,600 at the sale in Edinburgh. Matthew Lawson, 14, from Fife, sold his prized copy of Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets, to help fund his future university education. [More]
