Beverly Hills, CA – Singer-songwriter Enya will perform for the first time at the 74th Academy Awards, producer Laura Ziskin announced today. Enya will sing “May It Be” from “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring,” which is nominated for Best Original Song. Enya, whose total album sales to date have reached 60 million, has become an international success. Her latest album, “A Day Without Rain,” has sold more than 6 million copies in the United States and won a Grammy Award in 2002.
