On the red carpet, Sean Astin and Elijah Wood gave a brief interview before entering the Kodak Theatre. Both Hobbit actors flew in from Vancouver from the Oscars, and described right now as an ’emotional rolleroster’, and Sam joked that his daughter approved of his tux. When told that it could be ‘their night’, both of them just replied “we’ll see”.
