Shelia writes: Todd Eldredge of the US skated one of his programs to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating tonight. He did an excellent job, and it’s wonderful to see the soundtrack being used in this manner. The skaters don’t just use any music.

Stacey was watching Saturday Night Live last night and noticed a brief mention of FOTR during the Weekend Update, and a skit between Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey over the pronunciation of the names Frodo and Gandalf.
