A political page I occasionally visit quoted the very british “Guardian” in an editorial dealing with George Bush’s political future. I would not draw your attention to it, except for its literary allusion in an early paragraph. Amazing where those pesky hobbits turn up, isn’t it? [More]

Ringer Spy PT sends along word that the new (yummy) LOTR: FOTR trailer will be seen with the new Sean Bean (Boromir) film ‘Don’t Say A Word’. The film opens on October 25th in Australia. Get your double dose of Beanage!

There is a small picture of Galadriel in there that I haven’t seen before. The article doesn’t have much info on LoTR, just talks about Cate Blanchett’s upcoming movies and how wonderful she is.

GNER (a UK rail company) has an article about Tolkien in their free onboard magazine called LiveWire. The Cover says: ‘Totally Tolkien Liv Tyler stars in Lord of the Rings’ and there’s a four page article with pictures, some seen before, one of JRRT I’d not seen before and one of Ted Nasmith’s new ones. It gives a general story of the film-making.

Anyone who happens to have on of these and a scanner, please send it in!
