Media company Vivendi, the owner of Sierra Studios and Houghton Mifflin have pledged 5 million dollars to the Tribute To Heroes charity. This should be particularly noteworthy for ‘Ringers since Sierra are behind the upcoming computer games based on the Lord of the Rings books, while Houghton Mifflin produce the books themselves.
