Yesterday, driving through one of Athen’s main intersections I noticed to my delight a huge handpainted LOTR poster hanging on the marquee of a major movie-house, which is now closed for the summer months. The poster, which is a “liberal” depiction of the classic “Frodo holding ring” theme, was sharing the prominent hanging space with posters for “Harry Potter” and “AI”.
