Leandro, from our Spanish community member Elfenomeno.com, has informed us that they lost their server! To make a long story short, they were probably the victims of some major fraud. Good news for Dutch Lord of the Rings-fans, the new trailer will hit theatres there next thursday. At the moment it is still uncertain as to which movie it will be attached, movies that will release next thursday include among others Legend of Bagger Vance and Dude, Where Is My Car?. I just spoke with the marketing manager at the Empire 25 theatre in times square, New York, and the new FOTR trailer will definitely be playing with 2 out of the 5 prints of “Pearl Harbor” that will be starting there on Friday.
She got me in touch with the woman in charge of trailers for their chain in l.a., who was very friendly and helpful and told me to call back later in the day to find out exactly which prints it will be with.
