The Fellowship of the Ring, the first installment in director Peter Jackson’s three-film adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy classic The Lord of the Rings, won’t show up in theaters until Christmas 2001. Thought your readers might be interested to know that we’re running a week long cartoon contest featuring caricatures of Frodo and Gandalf (Elijah Wood and Ian McKellen to be precise) wondering what those fiery letters on the one ring really say.
