Many, many, many calls have been placed today to find out who the winner is. And no luck yet. If anyone finds out please get back to me! And Good luck to all who entered!
Do you live in Wellington? Do you know hardly anything about WETA Workshop? Would you like to learn more? Do you, or a friend, subscribe the cable TV Saturn?
If the answers were yes to all the above questions, then you are in luck. Saturn is currently previewing a short documentary on WETA. This is on channel 18 (OnTV), and the last time they showed the story was at about 7:20pm. I’m not too sure when the next repeat will be, but it will be later on in the evening. You can contact them (to ask when the next showing is on) at 0800 299 300.
Although from what I saw they didn’t show any “spoilers” on Lord of the Rings, it was just an interesting insight into the people behind the camera.
Hey folks, a bunch of small updates this weekend:
– Turgon chimes in with another update to Turgon’s Bookshelf! In this edition, he checks out The Tolkien 2000 Calendar.
– There is more fan art, including some great work from Tookish’s 4th grade students!
– Added 3 new pieces of wallpaper including the much requested Gaming Havens offical 3d Ring Logo.
– Thanks to Gastbona for this weeks poll question. I guess now is a good time to find out how sensitive you folks are to spoilers! Find the old polls in the slightly redesign old poll area.
– The Multimedia section is in the process of a redesign, but you can still check out some new additions. (Themes, icons, etc)
