In the Reading Room, we’re still reading through The Fellowship of the Ring.  This week, Brethil has lead the chapter discussion on “A Conspiracy Unmasked“.  There’s nothing better than reading Tolkien with friends.  Be sure to scan through the Room for discussions on FotR’s previous chapters.

Now that The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies has been out for a few weeks, over in The Pollantir mirkwoodwanderer is wondering how many times we’ve seen this last movie of the series.  Be sure to let us know how many times you’ve seen TBofFA, or just stop by to see how far gone many of our posters are!  Check it out here.

Following this thread of movie excitement, the Hobbit Board has been busy following the old tradition of compiling The Geeky Observations List for TBofFA.  We’ve done this for The Lord of the Rings films and now for The Hobbit films, and it’s just a bit of absurd fun as we gather all the incredible details of the film.  Have a look here and be sure to share your own geeky observations.  The explanation of the list is here.  The list is still growing and going strong.

We’ll share more topics from the next week and hope you join in on the conversation!  Don’t forget, TheOneRing.net’s Message Boards have over 11,680 registered Tolkien fans, just like you.  Let your voice be heard!
