Vivienne writes: The Middle-earth Weekend now has an official website giving details of what’s on on Sat and Sun 15th and 16th May this year, together with details of bus tours around Tolkien’s Birmingham, a costume parade, puppet workshop and plenty of drama, poetry, folk music, and hands on activities for families and children as well as the fans of Tolkien. Sunday afternoon will feature the City of Birmingham Brass Band and a visit from the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Birmingham. More..
