Weta launches new website

February 20, 2009 at 6:54 am by MrCere  -

The team at Weta sent us word that they have just launched a cool new website. Here is what they had to say:

Weta has a brand new website! Please check it out at www.wetaNZ.com
It’s full of “never seen in public before” images from our projects over the last 20 years. We hope you’ll enjoy all these new features:

MY WETA

This is your personal area where you can set up your own Profile (it’s free and only takes a few minutes). You’ll then be able to add your comments on our articles, write reviews on our products, showcase your creativity, tell us what stuff you like and connect with other fans. And if you’re a collector of our merchandise, you’ll then be able to show off your collection, track your orders and save money by earning Weta Dollars.

Customers with existing pre-orders will receive an email in the next few days with a link to where you can track those orders.

Everyone who creates a profile before the end of March, goes into the draw to win one of 10 amazing Weta goodie bags worth US $135.

INSIDE WETA

This is where you get the “inside” scoop – read the latest news, listen to our Weta Cast, learn more about our artists and read about all our projects over the last 20 years.

SHOP

This is where you can spoil yourself with the art of Weta. We have an ever growing range of items from limited edition collectibles, books, DVDs and clothing, to hand crafted swords, rayguns and jewellery. You can check out our Museum of Collectibles which have now sold out to collectors around the world.Take advantage of our website opening specials:

* EXTRA Weta Dollars for orders made before 23 March 2009. That’s a 20% saving on future purchases.
* Purchase anything from our online Shop before the end of March and go into the draw to win a free Dr Grordbort’s Manmelter Raygun valued at US$690

WORKSHOP SERVICES

This section is targeted at our current and future business clients to see what services Weta Workshop can offer. (If you like movies, you may want to take a peek as well!)

Hope to see you online!
