Guillermo (not that one!) Talks ‘The Hobbit’

Patrick Sauriol from movieset.com sends this in: Last weekend at the Vancouver International Film Festival’s New Filmmaker Day, Quinn, Patrick and myself sat down with well known and award winning director of photography, Guillermo Navarro, for a video interview. We found Navarro, who won an Oscar (and many other awards) for the other Guillermo’s (del Toro) film, Pan’s Labyrinth, to be open and wonderfully candid about all we questioned him on. After the READ MORE link is a 13 second teaser video of Navarro speaking about his possible involvement in the upcoming Peter Jackson and Guillermo del Toro telling of J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic, The Hobbit. It’s just a tiny taste, but later today we’ll see some more nicely edited video footage of Guillermo Navarro talking about shooting the recent Hellboy 2 as well as other exclusive information about the man and his storied career.
