Ostadan writes: OK, this is pretty geeky even my my standards, I have come across an announcement for a lecture, in Esperanto, on ‘The Sources of The Lord of the Rings’ by Anna Lowenstein, which will take place in the ‘virtual world’ of ‘Second Life’ on Sunday, 15 June, at 20:00 GMT (1pm Pacific).

Second Life…Esperanto…Tolkien.

I don’t think you can get much more esoteric. Oh well, I’ll probably be there…
