Sir Ian to narrate Sir Gawain
On December 21st BBC Radio 4 are broadcasting a new translation of “Sir Gawain & the Green Knight”. This isn’t Tolkien’s own translation - though Tolkien was apparently the first translator of the work into modern English. It does however feature Ian McKellan as narrator.
