LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) – Brooding actor Sean Bean, whose recent successes include playing Boromir in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy and Odysseus in “Troy”, has signed on to star in “Silent Hill”, the film adaptation of the best-selling video game franchise. Bean will play the husband of the female lead (Radha Mitchell) in the story of a mother and a daughter discovering the secrets of an abandoned town.
