Hobbits and wizards at VHS
Vineland High School South’s Wizardry 101 club took the day off from blowing things up and melting things down to celebrate the 50th anniversary of J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy with a Hobbit party. The event featured Shire-inspired snacks and activities, including a hunt for The One Ring, crossbow tournament and visit from Gandalf the Gray, otherwise known as Ed Ross, manager of the Booksmith in Cumberland Mall.
