Kate Day writes: I work for a children’s hospice in Oxford, England and we held a benefit evening on May 23rd which was an amazing event starring amongst others Jeremy Irons, Hugh Laurie, Griff Rhys Jones, Bill Nighy and Radiohead. An auction on the evening of film memorabilia raised £9,000, but we kept some items which we thought should reach a wider audience, including a signed poster from Lord of the Rings kindly donated to us by Sir Ian McKellan.
