Tigger as well as a ton of other folks write: There was a quick reference to Tolkien during tonight’s The West Wing season final. President Bartlet was about to address the US public after the killing of two Congressmen on a fact finding mission in Gaza. He was doing a quick lookover of his remarks when he started changing a couple of things. He said, “Terror mongering….What is this? Tolkien?”.
