Disappointment in India

Indian LOTR fans are still waiting for ANY extended edition DVDs of LOTR to be available. Some point out that DVD piracy and fileshare rip-offs are an enormous problem there, and perhaps most film companies think it’s hopeless to try and sell legitimate copies of anything there when the illegal competition is so cheap. Still, the fans that want ‘real’ copies feel frustrated, as Rulinian writes.
