Maori Hobbit had some more PJ news: “During Channel 3’s Nightly News, they showed a segment of the Oscar Party the LOTR crew were attending, at a Wellington Pub/Cafe, and as Peter Jackson entered, he told the cameras his reason for not attending the Oscars was the Studio thought it better if he worked on ROTK, and didn’t risk a plane delay or being grounded at an overseas airport. Another topic he brought up, was the fact that THEY ARE DOING PICK-UP SHOOTS IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS.” So it’s all happening soon.
