Rhiannon writes: Incase this is of any interest road chiefs in Monmouthshire - Wales have been banned from using words from Tolkien on their seat-belt safety add. Apparently they wanted to change “A ring to save(??) them all, a ring to bind them” to “A seat belt to save them all, a seat belt to bind them” A spokesman for Tolkien’s family has said: “It’s not our policy to lend Tolkien’s name to public campaigns.”
