Amanithil writes: I live in the south and it is a BIG custom for us to celebrate Mardi Gras, which is parades filled with candy, beads, cups, whatever. Well, In Mobile, AL, where Mardi Gras originated and I live across from, the news reported of one of the groups of doing an all “Lord of the Rings” themed parade with floats with a dragon to Gandalf and Frodo. I think Aragorn was even on one! Thought you might want to know that even LOTR found its way into Mardi Gras festivities!
