Quite recently, SoundtrackNet had a chance to speak with Oscar-winning composer Howard Shore about his work for The Two Towers, Peter Jackson’s highly-anticipated follow-up to last years blockbuster Fellowship Of The Ring. Shore graciously related more than a few insights into the latest cinematic chapter of J.R.R. Tolkien’s literary masterpiece The Lord Of The Rings. “This piece is act two of a three act piece,” Shore explained. “The first act is a very linear story: start in Hobbiton, meet characters, learn about The Ring, set out on the journey with Sam.
