“NZ TV showed Richard Taylor arriving back in Wellington today, he had a bag full of mini-Oscars (about half the size of the real statues) for everyone at WETA. He said it was great to be back and that Hollywood was a new experience for him. The real statues are destined for a cabinet in the one of the workshops at WETA. His partner Tania Rodgers did not attend the Oscars because she was expecting a child in a fortnight.” Thanks to Will for that.
