“I just saw a new comercial for Lord of the Rings on ABC. What was special about it was the voiceover mentioned the oscar wins and then as he mentioned the new footage being added to the end of the movie this weekend they showed three small cuts of NEW Two Towers footage. One of three riders on horseback traveling through a grassland, a woman standing amidst a large castle and a final shot of the battle at Helms Deep!!”
Thanks to Tony for this!

I’ve finally made my way through almost 1500 new emails and am able to write a little bit about the past weekend.
Expect a rather detailed report soon, with pics and video clips from the entire weekend, but I must tell you right now that it was truly wonderful to finally meet so many folks from the TORN crew, who really are family to me.
I’ll always remember my visit to New Line (sorry Ruth, we forgot to return our visitor badges!), meeting Gordon Paddison and Wendy Rutherford, bowling at ‘The Big Lebowski’ bowling alley (I’m a horrid bowler), and of course, ‘The One Party To Rule Them All’.
Yes my friends, we WILL be doing this next year!
Check out this very nice cartoon from the NZ Listener, you can tell there is no shortage of love and respect for PJ down in NZ. [More]
