Jocelyn writes: Sir Ian McKellan was on Politically Incorrect again last night – it wasn’t a repeat. Bill Maher said – at least twice – that Sir Ian should win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. The show was interesting, with Sir Ian, Howie Mandel and a model being very patient with the conservative (whose name I will not mention) – she was a bit more self-righteous and condescending than guests of any political ilk usually are. Not too many people would interrupt Sir Ian and lecture him!
