James writes: The Lord of the Rings will be released in the top theaters in Kyiv, Ukraine on February seventh. I wouldn’t expect a big boost on the international box office chart though. They were selling bootlegged copies of LOTR on video, translated into Russian, all over the city on December TWENTIETH! I just bought a copy in English. But, as of the seventh, I’ll be able do my part at the box office.
