Hackenbush updates his scoop on the new theater trailer coming with Pearl Harbor, informing us that it is not on all copies of the film- only 2 of the 4 at his place. Remember folks, PLAN AHEAD if you’re trying to see the trailer this weekend by calling your theaters first.

American cable’s TV Guide channel has LotR fever, with Bean and Tyler interviews, castle shots, bits of the first theater teaser, and a reference to the Professor as, “J double-R Tolkien.” Thanks to jb for this one.

An insider at Scholastic, a company that sells books to kids via a catalogue that the kids take home to mom and dad (I remember the days) will soon be offering a ‘Kids Version’ of LOTR…one question..is this really needed? [More]

Someone over at Movieheadlines.net apparently saw Pearl Harbour before it officially hits theatres, and he also got the chance to see the new trailer! A nice description can be found on their site, sounds like a lot of new footage, can’t wait to see it! [More]

Belcarnen from the Czech Republic site Pán Prstenuº sends us links to these great new images. !SPOILERS! [Galadriel] [Bilbo] [Nazgul] [Bag End]

UPDATE

Well, it looks like I jumped the gun a bit. These images are originally from Elostirion.com and our good buddy Greenleaf. Check out his Cannes report where you can find a very accurate map of the party grounds. Also, check out the film image of the Stone Troll. I guess the image we saw of Aragorn and something behind him was in this same shot. [More]

From: Mark P

I just got an email back from the Assistant Film Buyer who decided what trailers play with which movies for Empire Theatres, the largest Cinema chain in Atlantic Canada:

As far as I know, there will be no “Lord of the Rings” trailer on the front of “Pearl Harbor”. Things could change from here until Friday, but I do the trailer programming on Wednesdays and there has been no request from Alliance/Atlantis “Lord of the Rings”‘ Canadian distributor.

He said he’s email me back if things change, and I’ll be sure to give word to TORN if he does.
