Radio NZ had a report from Cannes. NZ Film Commission’s Gordon Harcourt caught up with Peter Jackson, who said he was ‘shattered’ after doing 150 interviews in 3 days. At the glamourous Rings party he was still wearing combat pants (not shorts!) and his usual polo shirt. He said he’d thought that afternoon about wearing a suit, but then realised he hadn’t brought one to France!
